How it works and uses

Can boost the skin's supply of hyaluronic acid and help revitalize and add volume to the skin.  By utilizing contour and shadowing, can create a lifting illusion.  It gives the skin a natural softer, rejuvenated look. They plump up wrinkles, restore volume in your face.

Contraindications

You should not get injections (unless MD approves) for the following: known allergy/hypersensitivity to the material or lidocaine mixed in the filler, known/active infection, active autoimmune disorder, uncontrolled diabetes, on antibiotics or steroids, active herpes breakout (cold sores), pregnancy.

Potential Side Effects

Swelling, bruising, itchiness, redness, pain, infection, allergic reaction, inflammation, nodules, lumps, tissue necrosis, embolism, permanent scarring, disfigurement and even death.

The skin is a very vascular tissue.  Dermal Fillers do pose a threat to vascular occlusion due to being highly vascular.  It is important to understand potential side effects and monitor your injection sites for complications and follow post-injection care directions. It is important to select an injector that understands facial anatomy, nerves, vasculature, and muscles that has been properly trained to help reduce potential side effects through safer techniques.

Contraindications after filler: avoid alcohol, avoid straws and smoking for at least 24 hours (puckering may disturb the distribution of product and cause complications).  Alcohol will increase chance of bruising and swelling. Check cap refill as instructed by your injector to ensure proper blood flow first 24-48 hours following injection.
